Freefall 2012-2014

A move from city to rural ‘down’ the coast inspired the first in the Freefall series: a poem. This led to a sculptural waterfall of words experimenting with resin as a medium. Originally developed as an undergraduate Visual Arts project, a reworked version was exhibited in the Swell Sculpture Festival, Currumbin Beach, QLD in 2014. Sitting alongside these works is a series of paintings, attempting to capture the liberation and trepidation of jumping into a new way of life.
